I'm currently using Joomla 4.4.1 and would like to upgrade to J5. I've done this task 14 times successfully on other domains but currently am stumped about this particular website.
First off, it is not even showing an upgrade from 4.4.1 to 5.0.2 button (it shows 4.4.1 to 4.4.2), despite JOOMLA NEXT being set in the options. But even attempting to update from 4.4.1 to 4.4.2 doesn't get past the pre-install check. It is squawking about:
"Database Table Structure Up to Date = No"
Go to 'System - Maintenance - Database' and use the 'Update Structure' button.
On the Database page, there are no issues, nonetheless, I select the one item on the list "Akeeba Backup" and UPDATE STRUCTURE. No change.
Using cPanel, I check and repair the DB in MySQL Databases. No errors were shown, no change in Joomla Update.
I've tried doing a manual install of full and update J5.0.2 zip packages from Joomla Update and by cPanel File Manager. In both cases, the administration panel breaks and generates a fatal error page. The front end displays correctly.
A last note, this website does not use any extensions that my other websites do not, it also uses the same Yoo Theme template as the others do.
I'm at a loss as to what the issue is at this point. Any help you can provide would be appreciated.
